Bridal bouquet pic yet to come…

These are Amanda’s customized flowers. Her requests were for us to use white ribbon base with aqua organza sheer, trim stems to about 12″ long maintaining the varied stem lengths and for us to take out all the hypericum berries and add more pink freesias in it’s place.

N. Rivera decided to go with the bridal bouquet from Package 9 http://www.sharonnagassardesigns.com/Package%209.html. Her colors were ivory, green, burgundy and orange. She wanted her bouquet to look natural and she also wanted to add a touch of orange to incorporate “fall”. We suggested the use of real touch ivory roses, leaving the silk burgundy/green roses and the berries. We also used real touch dendrobium orchids in place of the silk in the original design. While designing her bouquet we decided to add some orange/rust colored calla lilies in place of the burgundy calla lilies. The rust toned orange complimented the burgundy roses perfectly. The bride approved the design and this is how it looked. Please click on images to view larger.

Champagne with Dusty Rose

October 18th, 2008

A. J. Ahern chose package 15 http://www.sharonnagassardesigns.com/Package%2015.html. Her requests were simple. She wanted to incorporate dusty rose in her bridal bouquet. Our suggestion was to have a mix of champagne freesias with dusty rose freesias and the flowers for her bridal party to be accented with dusty rose colored ribbon. The bride preferred that the ribbon be ivory base with dusty rose sheer (organza) accents. Now using the real touch brand for our calla lilies, here is how the flowers looked. Hi there, after working on several “pool blue” and “beach wedding” projects, I decided to do some research and compile this article. I hope this is helpful to you brides planning a pool blue, beach or destination wedding.

When it comes to choosing the flowers for a pool blue beach or destination wedding, here are some flower suggestions. The image below shows: phalaenopsis orchids in fuchsia, hibiscus in hot pink, cymbidium orchids in lime green, calla lily in mango and oriental lily in papaya/tangerine

Once you’ve selected the flower/flowers that reflects you, the suggested colors that compliment a pool blue beach destination wedding are:

Deep pinks: fuchsia, hot pink, beauty

Oranges: Mango, tangerine, papaya

Greens: lime

Here are some bouquets I’ve collected and compiled with a pool background for reference. These are all fresh flower bouquets. (Any of these designs can be re-created using the real touch brand of latex flowers.)

From our collection, using artificial florals, here are a few suggestions:
